Please join us for one of the most exciting days on an HDA build – the first Wall Raising. Meet our staff, board members, partners, and funders as we celebrate the start of 15 new homes at Gurney’s Bend in Allais, KY!

We will kick off the event with the raising of the first wall on the Brashear family home and then hear some brief remarks from our Executive Director Scott McReynolds, Mayor of the City of Hazard “Happy” Mobelini (HDA partnered with the City on this redevelopment project), some of our funders who have made this home and all of the homes at Gurney’s Bend possible, and then, we hope to conclude with some words from the new homeowner.
Following the Facebook Live broadcast, we will be checking back in twice by Live Video as the wall is being fully raised.Â
